World Series 2010

Game 3 of the  San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers kicks off at the Rangers Ball Park in Arlington, Texas. This will be the first time that the Rangers play in their home court.World Series

The Giants are coming in this game at 2-0 after winning the first two games against the Rangers in their home court at AT&T Park in San Francisco. During game 1, we saw how the Giants battered Cliff Lee and the bullpen, with Sanchez hitting three doubles and keying a six-run burst to end the game at a score of 11-7.

In game 2, Matt Cain pitched 7 2/3 innings and combined with his bullpen on a four-hitter, Edgar Renteria reprised his October success with a home run and three RBIs to end the game at a score of 9-0. With these victories, the Rangers are now pressured to win this game against the Giants in order to further advance in the World Series 2010.

Game 3 begins with starting pitchers Jonathan Sanchez of the Giants against Colby Lewis of the Rangers. Sanchez threw 37 fastballs in his most recent start. Of those 37 fastballs, only 15 were strikes. He is also 0-1 this postseason with a 2.93 ERA. Meanwhile, Lewis has been the surprise of the postseason for the Rangers, going 2-0 in his three starts, while pitching to a 1.45 ERA.

GAME UPDATES: Texas Rangers won the game against rival San Francisco Giants in a final score of 4-2.
